Been lurking here for a while but finally have a reason to post. My father owns a 2014 Rolls Royce Ghost that he bought used about three years ago and honestly he treats it better than he treats most of the family. The problem is that the car is starting to show its age a little. The air suspension has been making a soft knocking sound over speed bumps and the infotainment screen freezes randomly maybe once a week. Nothing catastrophic but enough that he keeps mentioning it at dinner and then doing nothing about it. The real issue is he's terrified of taking it anywhere because a guy he knows took his Bentley to a general garage and came back with a scratch and a bill that made no sense. So now he's stuck in this loop of complaining but not acting. I started looking around online and ended up on https://caracrepairsharjah.ae/brands/rolls-royce which lists a workshop dealing specifically with the brand, and it got me thinking maybe the specialist route is the answer he's been avoiding. But I don't want to send him somewhere and have it go wrong, so I'm asking you a lot. Has anyone here used a brand focused workshop for suspension or electrical gremlins on a Ghost? Did they actually diagnose properly or just swap parts until the noise stopped? Also curious whether they let you see the old parts afterwards because my dad will absolutely want proof nothing was replaced unnecessarily. And roughly what kind of turnaround should we expect for something like this, because he uses the car almost daily and a two week wait would be a problem. I'm not looking for a sales pitch, just honest experiences from people who own these cars and have had to trust someone with them. Thanks in advance, this forum has already taught me more about these cars than the manual ever did.
